If you are from Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Tabur East is a site that can be reached easily without driving too far away from the city. It’s one of those places where you can go to just for a weekend getaway. It’s one of those places where you can get Minimum Effort Maximum Pleasure (MEMP).

For beginners that is uncomfortable with leeches. You will not need to worry about those cute little creatures. They are almost non-existent in this area. If there was, this area has is so frequently used that most of the little cuties has already been killed. If you want to be sure please bring some salt with you. If you so luckily get bitten, just take a few pinches of salt CALMLY put the salt on the leeches and after a while it will drop off. There are certain leeches that are very stubborn, most of the time it’s the Tiger Leech. All you need to do is to put more salt on it and it will fall off.

Along the way throughout the hike, on a good day it will be misty. That remains me, it can get quite hot early in the morning and also if you plan to go early in the afternoon. So please bring your sun blocks and hats along the way! Prevention against sunburn is better than cure! It will be a good idea to bring some chocolates or sweets along the way as temporary power bars along the way.
